Now that I’ve picked my jaw up off the floor – I am absolutely mind-blown shocked, and so incredibly honoured to somehow have been nominated in the Planet S Magazine 2022 readers poll in the category of “Best Solo Artist”.
In addition, for the 2nd year in a row, my brothers and I in Powerslave have been nominated in the category of “Best Cover Band”.
I am honoured, proud, and humbled to be thought of alongside such inspiring artists as Velours, Ellen Froese, and Anna Haverstock; and such kickass bands (and our good friends) The 100th Meridian, Fear of Knowing, Rock Candy, Charger, and Sask Steel.
If you feel I and/or Powerslave have earned your vote, please visit the Planet S website and give us your support. Or if another nominee is your favorite instead, please still be sure visit the link to support them. The cliche is true, it’s an honour just to be nominated. And regardless who “wins’, the true winners will be everyone who loves and supports our local music community and scene.
